Doha Miles Terms & Conditions

Doha Bank Card Customers are entitled to earn cashback on Doha Bank's Global Cashback platform subject to having a valid / active Doha Bank Card.

  • "Card customer" means the holder of Doha Bank Credit Cards.
  • "Doha Bank Global Cashback platform" means Doha Bank branded website for Cashback.
  • "Merchant" mean the merchants on the Doha Bank Global Cashback platform including but not limited to airline, hotel reservations, clothing & Jewelry Merchants.
  • "Qualifying Transaction" means tracked, genuine and successful transaction.
  • "Offer" means the cashback offer that is provided by Merchants for purchases made through Doha Bank Global Cashback platform.

1.Doha Bank Global Cashback platform allows Doha Bank card customer's qualifying transactions to earn cashback from Merchants available on the Doha Bank Global Cashback platform.

2.To qualify for cashback, the Merchant must confirm that the Cardholder's purchase is tracked, genuine and successful (constituting a "Qualifying Transaction").

3.To get benefited from cashback offers at Doha Bank Global Cashback platform, customers need to log in to www.dohamiles.com and chose to be directed to the Doha Bank Global Cashback platform, browse the Merchants, click on the Merchant's link on Doha Bank Global Cashback platform and continue on Merchant's webpage so that, purchases on the Merchants' webpage will be tracked by Doha Bank Global Cashback platform.

4.When the purchase is completed on a Merchant's webpage, purchase will be tracked in the next 72 hours on Doha Bank Global Cashback platform and the customer will be able to track the transaction and relevant cashback as "Pending Cashback" on the Doha Bank Global Cashback account.

5.If a transaction is a purchase of a good, then return/cancellation period will be waited to confirm the cashback on the Doha Bank Global Cashback platform. It may take 4-12 weeks for cashback to get confirmed. If the transaction is a hotel or flight booking, then the flight or hotel stay date will be waited to confirm the cashback. Once the cashback is confirmed, the cashback amount will be automatically credited to the customer's Doha Bank credit card in the following statement.

6.Date for a purchase transaction in Doha Bank Global Cashback platform shows the date that the purchase transaction has been tracked by Doha Bank Cashback platform. This date can be different than the transaction date or post-date that the customer will see on the credit card statement.

7.For a few merchants, at times, the tracking happens at a lower/higher rate than the published Cash Back offer rate. But will be updated to the correct published Cash Back at the time of confirmation. For the list of merchants, please refer the FAQs.

8.Order amount in Doha Bank Cashback platform can be slightly different than the transaction amount that the customer will have on the credit card statement. This is caused by different currency rates applied by Merchants and Doha Bank. Additionally, as explained in Doha Bank Statement of Charges and Credit Cardholder terms and conditions, currency conversion fee can be applicable by MasterCard/VISA on international spends.

9.Cashback rate that is advertised on Doha Bank Global Cashback platform is applied on the home currency of the Merchant's webpage. E.g if the transaction currency is in British Pounds (GBP), then cashback will be calculated in British Pounds (GBP) and then will be converted to QAR.

10.For the purchased goods, Physical address should be provided for deliveries.

11.From time to time Merchants may increase or decrease the cashback rate - in which case the cashback offer illustrated on Doha Bank Global Cashback platform may be incorrect. By default, your applicable transactions will be credited in line with the cashback rate reported to us by the Merchant, which may be more or less than the advertised rate. Doha Bank shall not be liable for any difference in the expected cashback by the Card Customer and the actual cashback received by the Card Customer.

12.If the goods are returned or the sale reversed or amended by any means then the cashback payment will not be made. Further, in the event that the Merchant feels that the purchase is not genuine for any reason whatsoever, the Card Customer will not receive any Cashback.

13.Doha Bank shall not be held responsible if the Merchant fails to report a sale or does not qualify a transaction as Qualifying Transaction. Further, Doha Bank shall not be responsible for not tracing any sale back to the Card Customer due to technical error or whatsoever reason and for not qualifying the transaction as a Qualifying Transaction for any reason whatsoever.

14.The Bank's decision on computation, lapse, cancellation, forfeiture, credit, debit and re-installment of cashback shall be final, conclusive and binding on the Card Customer.

15.In any case of a missing cashback, the customer can raise a ticket on Doha Bank Cashback platform after 3 working days after the transaction has been completed.

16.When Card Customer raises a ticket on Doha Bank Global Cashback platform for missing cashback, Doha Bank's system will check whether the Card Customer had an exit click from Doha Bank Cashback platform for that store on the date mentioned by the Card Customer or not.

17.Cashback will not be payable to the Card Customer in the following circumstances:

a) if the cashback is not attributed to a Qualifying Transaction or associated with a Doha Bank Global Cashback platform account;

b) if the Card Customer is not logged-in to the Doha Bank Global Cashback platform when making the relevant purchase,

c) if the purchase transaction is reversed or cancelled due to any fraudulent activity or any breach of this Agreement.

d) if payment is not made by Doha Bank card, then the Card Customer will not be eligible for Cashback.

18.All Global Cashback shall be forfeited and no additional or unprocessed requests of Global Cashback shall accrue or be processed in a Doha Bank credit card in the following circumstances: (a) the Doha Miles Account has been closed or is not in good standing (as determined by us); (b) all the customer's Credit Cards (under the same Customer Number) are cancelled or closed for any reason whatsoever including death; (c) if customer breaches any of these Terms and Conditions and/or any other policy incorporated by reference herein; or (d) any other event, which, at our sole discretion, will result in such  forfeiture or (e) in case all Credit Cards (Under the same Customer Number) are cancelled by us for any reason or due to internal or Qatar Central Bank's rules and policies.

In the above circumstances, the cashback will be forfeited.

19.Doha Bank is not a party to any transactions with Merchants, and is not the seller or supplier of any of the goods or services under Doha Bank Global Cashback platform. Accordingly,

a) Doha Bank shall not be responsible if the quality of goods or services provided by the Merchants is not to the satisfaction of the Card Customer.

b) Doha Bank is not liable for claim relating the transactions with Merchants, including demands or claims relating to uncompleted or completed transactions with Merchants, or goods or services offered for sale or supply, or actually sold or supplied, through or in connection with any transactions with Merchants.

c) In case the Merchant enters into any voluntary arrangement with its creditors or becomes subject to an administration order, has a receiver appointed over any of its property, goes into liquidation or bankruptcy, or ceases, or threatens to cease, to carry on business, Doha Bank takes no responsibility and there will be no replacement offer or any compensation in lieu of this. Any remedy or redressal should be addressed by the Card Customers directly to the Merchants.

20.Doha Bank, at its absolute discretion shall have the right to suspend or terminate any Card Customers access to Doha Bank Global Cashback platform, or parts of it, if the relevant Card Customer or Account appears to be in breach of any provision of this Agreement or if it believes that it is essential to protect the interest of Doha Bank.

21.Doha Bank reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to amend and/or supplement these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notification to the Card Customer. Any such amendments or supplements shall be provided on Doha Miles website: www.dohamiles.com

22.In no event shall Doha Bank, any of its affiliates, or any of its officers, directors, employees or agents be liable or responsible for any loss, damage or expense arising out of or otherwise related to this Offer.

23.Doha Bank does not offer or provide any warranties, or accept any responsibility or liability of any kind in respect to this Offer and hereby disclaims any and all express or implied warranties with respect of the same.

24.Doha Bank shall not be in breach of its obligations or otherwise be liable to conduct this Offer as a result of any Force Majeure Event. A Force Majeure Event in these terms and conditions, shall mean circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Doha Bank including, amongst other things, acts of God, industrial disputes, acts and regulations of any governmental or authority in any jurisdiction. In such circumstances, Doha Bank's obligations, if any, to the Card Customer shall automatically stand discharged without the need to provide notice.

25.These terms and conditions are in addition to the respective standard Doha Bank Card terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

26.Doha Bank's decision on all matters relating to the Offer in case of any dispute shall be final and binding on all Card Customers and no correspondences in relation therewith shall be entertained.

27.These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Qatar.
